When I was a little girl holding my uncle's hand on our walk back home. I told him a secret. "Tio, I can speak dog."

Kids know things. Even then I knew that I loved two things more than anything else in the world. Drawing & animals.

I've since forgotten the syntax of the canine tongue and my feline is dismally rusty. We can't talk to our pets with the full complexities of our own language but you and I both know that we communicate perfectly fine between kisses, and looks, and pressed foreheads.

To you and I they are worth every chewed baseboard, every scare, and every naughty trick because at the end of the day they take care of us more than we take care of them.

This is why I paint animals. I love them and I love the people who love them. I hope you enjoy browsing the gallery!

At this time, I paint or draw limited pet portraits of any pet! Doesn't matter if you have a dog, chicken, cat, guinea pig, lizard, goat, pig or chinchilla. They make awesome anniversary, birthday, appreciation or holiday presents!

Since I am based out of Felton, California I'll happily hand deliver art work or offer free reference photo shoots within Santa Cruz and surrounding cities. If you're in Bakersfield, California I can come by to deliver too! I'm sure my mom would love a visit.
